eLibrary Content Showcase: Bridgeman Art

The Bridgeman Art archive is one of the most visually stunning collections found in eLibrary. To date there are over 115,000 photographs of paintings by famous artists such as Vermeer, Botticelli, Renoir and Gauguin to name just a few.

For students researching the evolution of the visual arts, social history, or fashion, this collection is an essential resource.

To sample the collection, simply search for “Bridgeman Art” under the Publications tab in eLibrary. It is also possible to perform an advanced search for a specific artist exclusively within the Bridgeman Art archive. For guidance on how to perform an advanced search in eLibrary, watch a brief video tutorial
